Project : Storridge Farm Location : UK Surface: 175 m² Year : 2026 Flooring: Prestige Oak Natural XL, collection Classic 30 XL A milestone project completed by installers The Floor Smith covering 175m². The project was carried out at Storridge Farm, a character-filled building with exposed brickwork, original structural beams, and strong natural light. The flooring was specified to complement these features without overpowering them. Preparation The existing Cemfloor screed was mechanically ground before being finished with F. Ball and Co. Ltd. 1200 smoothing compound, providing a flat, stable base suitable for large-format LVT. Installation Prestige Oak Natural XL vinyl planks from Oneflor UK were installed throughout. The scale and natural tone of the planks sit comfortably alongside the exposed beams and brickwork, delivering a modern finish that respects the building’s character. Outcome The completed floor demonstrates the importance of thorough preparation, material selection, and attention to detail when delivering large-scale LVT installations.
